Directions to Old Town Office, 312 S. Washington Street

 

Alexandria Medical Building is a 6 story, brick building;

It's a thin building with Barber Shop and Dry Cleaners on the Ground Floor

 

Metro:  King Street , yellow and blue lines

The walk down King St. (or Prince St) to S. Washington is under/about a mile

Turn right onto S. Washington

 

From I-495 in Virginia

 

Exit 177B Rt. 1, Alexandria Old Town

It's a new exit, very long exit lane

Stay left in the exit lane until you get to the light at Route 1

Double left turn lane at light, turn left onto Route 1

Get in the Right lane

At first light (by Liberty Gas Station), turn Right onto Franklin Street

Get in the left lane, go three short blocks (Alfred, Columbus, Washington )

Turn Left at light onto Washington Street

Go 3 ½ short blocks, building is on the right

 

From GW Parkway

 

Washington Street is the GW Parkway in Old Town

 

If coming from National Airport , go through Old Town , cross King Street . 

Go 2 blocks (King St. to Prince St. , to Duke St.)

Office building is on your Left, next to the BB&T. 

 

If coming from Mt. Vernon , South Washington starts when you get into Old Town . 

Building is on your Right. 

 

From I-395

Duke Street or King Street exit

Head toward Old Town

Turn right onto S. Washington , building is on your left

 

Parking

 

Free, patient parking lot at Alexandria Medical Building

 

If no space in lot:

            2 hour Meter parking on Washington Street (20 mins/quarter)

               I will reimburse your parking for 2 hours

 

            Or look in the block around the building: 

               Turn Right onto Duke, free 2-hour parking on the street

            Right from Duke onto St. Asaph, free, 2 hour parking on the street

                      You can usually find a space on St. Asaph

Or turn right from St. Asaph onto Wolfe, free, 2 hour parking on the street


 

For your first visit :

There’s no receptionist, so just have a seat in the waiting room. There is a clipboard on my office door with a Registration form and Office Policies. If you arrive a few minutes early, just fill them out and sign; this will save us a few minutes of session time. I'll answer any questions about the forms when we meet. I'll find you in the waiting room at the scheduled time.
